DisabilityCareColorado.com fills the need of connecting those who wish to provide care and those needing care. One annual fee will allow you access an experienced pool of direct services providers and families, and use the medicaid PASA agency of your choice for funding or opt to private pay directly.

DisabilityCareColorado.com does not conduct in depth interviews with providers and we urge families to do their due diligence. If billing through a medicaid agency do a background check (a requirement for Medicaid). You can do your own background check (if not billing via medicaid. Make sure you take the time to properly interview, check references, take time for training to share critical information.

Our Story

Navigating Disability Colorado was created by Maureen Welch, who personally understands the need for this website. She experienced the complicated waiver application process as well as how to access all the services options. Then she realized that the medicaid provider agencies (Program Approved Service Agencies- PASAs) do not have a sufficient pool of respite workers ready to come help you.
